If you turn it on, the app reads the SMS on your phone to find your bank's transaction and balance messages. This happens on your phone only. Your SMS and your passbook are never uploaded, shared or sold. The app never asks for your net-banking user ID, password, PIN, OTP, card number or CVV. The app does not collect your name, phone number, contacts or location. The app shows ads and uses analytics. For this, third-party services receive technical data such as your advertising ID, device model and how you use the app. You can turn the Passbook off at any time in Settings, which deletes its data from your phone. 1.
